Sri Shiva Vishnu Punya Yatra (18 Nights and 19 Days)

(Chennai-Varanasi-Budhagaya-Gaya-Allahabad-Triveni Sangam-Chitrakut-Naimisharanyam–Ayodhya-Nandigram-Gorakhpur-Bhairawa-Lumbini-Pokhara-Mukthinath-Kathmandu Jalnarayan-Pashupathinath-Guheshwari-Manokamana-Janakapuri-Dhanushadham-Gajendramoksha Stalam-Sitamarhi)

Departure Dates: 20-03-2024, 21-04-2024, 07-05-2024 and 02-06-2024

Day 1: Departure from Chennai Central by Sangamitra Express at 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Train journey.

Day 3: Reach Mugalsarai (DDU) Junction. Transfer to accommodation. Morning Holy bath in River Ganges. Free time for religious (Shradham) activities. After lunch, Darshan of Sri Kasi Vishwanath Temple (Jyothirlingam), Sri Annapurani Temple, Sri Kasi Visalakshi (Shakthi Peetam), Kalabhairavnath Temple and Dandapani Temple. Evening Ganga Arthi Darshan. Halt in Varanasi.

Day 4: Morning after breakfast, drive to Budha Gaya, enroute visit Sarnath. Evening Darshan of Budha Gaya. Sacred Bodhi Tree where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Stay in Budha Gaya.

Day 5: Morning, Free time for religious (Shradham) activities. Darshan of Sri Vishnu Padam Temple, Vatavruksham (Akshaya Vatam) and Mangala Gowri (Shakthi Peetam). After lunch, drive to Varanasi and Halt.

Day 6: After breakfast, drive to Vindhyachalam. Darshan of Sri Vindhyavasini (Shakthi Peetam). After Darshan, proceed to Prayagraj (Allahabad). Holy bath in Triveni Sangam, Darshan of Sri Kamokotishwar Temple and Sri Sayana Anjaneyar Temple. Darshan of Sri Alopi Devi (Shakthi Peetam and Sri Veni Madhavar Temple). Halt in Allahabad.

Day 7: After breakfast, drive to Chitrakut. Full day visit Sri Kamthanath (Vishnu), Sathi Anusuya Cave, Guptha Godavari River, Hanuman Dhara and Sphatik Shila. Drive back to Pryagraj - Halt.

Day 8: Morning after breakfast, drive to Naimisharanyam. On the way lunch. Halt in Naimisharanyam.

Day 9: Morning Holy bath at River Gomathi (Nabhi Gaya Shradham), Chakra Theertham, Vyasagadhi and Darshan of Sri Devaraja Swami Temple (Divyadesam), Sri Ahobilam Mutt, Sri Balaji Temple and Sri Lalitha Devi Temple (Shakthi Peetam). After lunch, proceed to Ayodhya, enroute visit Nandigram. Darshan of Hanuman and Bharat Milap Temple. Halt in Faizabad.

Day 10: Morning drive to Ayodhya. Holy bath in Sarayu River, visit Sri Rama Janma Bhoomi, Kanak Bhavan, Sri Ammaji Temple (Divyadesam) and Karyashala. Proceed to Bhairawa via Sunauli Border enroute Gorakhnath darshan and Halt in Bhairawa (Nepal).

Day 11: Morning after breakfast, drive to Lumbini, birth place of Lord Buddha, Darshan at Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi Temple and Ashoka Stupa. After darshan drive to Kathmandu. Halt.

Day 12: Morning darshan of Pashupathinath (Panchamukha Shivalingam), Sri Guheshwari Devi (Shakthi Peetam) and Jal narayan Temple. After darshan, drive to Pokhara. Halt in Pokhara. (Note: Instead of road travel, Passengers can also fly to Pokhara.)

Day 13: Morning fly to Jomsom (20 minutes flight). From Jomsom jeep/bus drive to Mukthinath. Holy bath at 108 sacred water spouts. Darshan of Sri Mukthinath (Divyadesam) and Jwalamayi Devi. Return back to Jomsom. Halt in Jomsom.

Day 14: Morning fly back to Pokhara. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Pokhara City includes: Vindyavasini Temple, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Varahi Devi Temple, Devi’s Waterfalls and boating in Phewa Lake. (Shopping in Pokhara) Halt in Pokhara.

Day 15: Drive to Chitwan. Enroute visit Sri Manokamana Devi Temple (Shakthi Peetam) by cable car. Halt in Chitwan National Park Resort.

Day 16: (Optional: In Chitwan, from morning 6:00 am to 9:00 am - Free time for Elephant/jeep safari) After breakfast, drive to Janakapuri (Mithalapuri), place where Lord Ram and Sita met for the first time, and were married to each other. Darshan of Sri Ram Temple, Sri Sita Temple (Raja Janak’s Palace), Vivaha Mandapam. Enroute visit Dhanushadham, the place where Lord Ram had broken Lord Shiva's divine bow, according to the epic, one of the three pieces of the bow fell in the present day Dhanushadham. Halt in Janakpuri.

Day 17: Drive to Danapur. Enroute darshan of Sitamarhi. Place where Raja Janak Found Goddess Sita from Earth. After lunch, visit Gajendra Moksham Temple. Reach Danapur to Board Sangamitra Express at 8:15 pm (Packed Dinner will be provided).

Day 18: Train journey.

Day 19: Reach Perambur (Chennai) at 9:40 am.
