Terms and Conditions

Nepal Pilgrim travel reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour it has advertised or published if it is deemed advisable or necessary without assigning any reason if the tour is cancelled all amount paid by you will be fully refunded, but no compensation is payable for consequential loss suffered.

Tour timing and itinerary are subject to change. Consequently it may be revised at any time during the tour, with or without notice depending on the exigencies of occasion. We will try to advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In this case if any tour participant misses any part of sight seeing due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim a refund for the same. No refund is payable for any unutilized services.

Nepal Pilgrim Travel accepts no responsibilities for losses, additional expenses due to delay or change, missed connections, strike, weather/ quarantine or other causes howsoever caused and all such expenses must be borne by the tourists.

We may, at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour if we deem his/her acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.

You can reserve your seats at our Head Office, branches by paying Draft/cheque in favour of Nepal Pilgrim travel, payable at concerned branches in person or by post i.e. Rs. 5,000/- per seat for India tours and Rs. 10000/- for Nepal Tours & Rs.25,000/- for Kailash tour.

Reconfirmation of seats:
Balance amount to be sent to us so as to reach us on or before, 30 days to the tour commencement date for Nepal and India tours. So that, we can arrange accommodation and transportation according to the size of the group with prior confirmation of all arrangements. Those who book their seats only by paying advance and delay in making balance payment on date have no right to complaint while on tour or to express any type of grievance after the completion of their journey.

You have the right at any time to cancel the booking but if you do so, must make the cancellation in writing and it must reach to us. Cancellation charges would be: Cancellation charges would be:

  1. 15% of the total tour cost if notified before 60 days
  2. 25% of the total tour cost if notified before 30 days
  3. 35% of the total tour cost if notified before 21 days
  4. 45% of the total tour cost if notified before 15 days
  5. 60% of the total tour cost if notified before 7 days
  6. 75% of the total tour cost if notified before 3 days
  7. 90% of the total tour cost if notified before 1 day
  8. No refund will be given after commencement of the tour

However for all passengers who have booked for tour with us, for any cancellation Rs 2500 for india tours, Rs 5000 for Nepal tour and Kailash tour 10000 Rs will be deducted as handling charges and the balance amount will be returned back to the passengers!


Accommodation will be arranged in twin sharing basis in decent hotels (rooms with attached bathroom facility). Triple sharing rooms can be arranged on your special request. We don’t provide Dormitories in any of our tour programmes.

Single supplement:
This will be applied according to your choice of the tour. Kindly consult the office before booking.
Single supplementary is available on actual extra cost.

FOOD: Nepal pilgrim Travel will provide pure south Indian food (WITHOUT ONION AND GARLIC). Morning Coffee with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served except train journey. In the case of any problems with the served food, the Passengers are requested to contact the organizers of the tour who will do their best. Under no circumstances, the passengers should not contact the cooks directly. In case you could not participate in our food schedule, we will not be able to refund any amount proportionately.Passengers are requested to extend their utmost co-operation in this regard.

Seat Allotment
The allotment of seats in AC bus for our tours will be on first come first serve basis.


We shall provide your proper bill, which includes 4.08 % service tax. Sanctioning of LFC/LTC will be the whole discretion of the Institution, and we are not responsible for any shortfall in the reimbursement of the bills issued.

BREAKING OF TOURS & TREKKING Any tour or Trekking can be broken at the wish of our guest/s or in case of sickness, accident, landslides, and other factors beyond our control. No refund will be made and clients should bear his/her expenses for rest of days.
Onward & Return journey
We can also book your Onward & Return journey train tickets in any class (subject to availability) from your own place so that you can join our group at the first destination. As such to ensure proper reservation you have to book your seats well in advance. As per the railway rules the train tickets are not transferable. We can neither block the tickets nor get your seats confirmed in any other manner if you are late to reserve your seats. Air tickets also can be arranged depending on availability.

Passengers Guidelines;
  • Passengers are requested to bring the minimum required clothes for the tour. (less luggage more comfort) Please bring only limited luggage, one medium sized suitcase per person and one additional hand bag to keep inside the coach. Do not bring blankets and bedding. Baggages at all times and in all circumstances are the sole responsibility of the passenger

  • Passengers should bring with them an umbrella, Regular medicines (B.P/Sugar etc) and a torch light.

  • Passengers may bring a full arm sweater, pair of socks, cap and pair of Hand-glosses.(for Mukthinath /Darjeeling tour). Shoes are not compulsory; however toe socks with slippers will be enough.

  • Kailash Manasarovar/ Damodarkund passengers must wear trekking shoes.

  • All Passengers must bring a photo identity document issued by Govt of India during journey. (Any one among the following: Voter ID Card, Pan card, Driving license, Passport, ID issued by State/ Central Government, Bank Passbook with photograph.)

  • Indian rupees 200, 500 and 2000 denominations are banned in Nepal. Please bring 100, 50, 20, 10 denominations. All foreign currencies and international credit/debit cards are acceptable in Nepal

  • Pilgrims can be bring offerings like dry fruits, vasthram with them for Lord Sri Muktinath and for other temples.

  • While taking bath at rivers, you should follow our manager /guide’s instructions. We request you to cooperate with us and don’t indulge in any unpleasant discussions. If you are not satisfied with our services, please clarify the issue immediately with us politely. If you happen to have any difference of opinion with our staff, you may discuss with our Tour manager and resolve it. We request you, not to allow the issues to grow in to an unpleasant manner. During the pilgrimage Kindly Avoid un- parliamentary words. Kindly follow “Give Respect and Take Respect” Policy with all!

  • Passenger wishing to do religious rites (Brahmins) must bring Panchagacham Dhoti for gents and Nine yards saree for ladies.

  • All passengers must bring one plate, tumbler and spoon for their food.

  • Kindly note that you are undertaking a religious tour. Hence you are requested not to expect too much of comforts in few remote areas during the tour as your daily life at back home. Our ultimate aim is to worship the Almighty and seek his blessings. Nepal Pilgrim travel will do all its best for your comforts
