Sri Pashupathinath Mukthinath Janakapuri Yatra (12 Nights and 13 Days)

Day 1: Departure from Chennai central by Rapti Sagar Express at 11:35 pm.

Day 2: Train journey.

Day 3: Reach Gorakhpur. Darshan of Gorakhnath Temple. Drive via – Sunauli Bhairawa border. After completing border formalities, halt in Bhairawa.

Day 4: Morning after breakfast drive to Lumbini, birth place of Lord Buddha, Darshan at Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi Temple and Ashoka Stupa. After darshan drive to Kathmandu. Halt.

Day 5: Morning darshan of Pashupathinath (PANCHAMUKHA SHIVALINGAM), Sri Guheshwari Devi (Shakthi Peetam) and Jal Narayan Temple. After darshan, drive to Pokhara. Halt in Pokhara.

Day 6: Morning fly to Jomsom (20 minutes flight), from Jomsom by jeep/bus drive to Mukthinath. Holy bath at 108 sacred water spouts. Darshan of Sri Mukthinath & Jwalamai Devi. Return to Jomsom by jeep/bus. Halt in Jomsom.

Day 7: Morning fly back to Pokhara. After lunch, Sightseeing tour of Pokhara City includes: Vindyavasini Temple, Gupteshwar Mahadev Temple, Varahi Devi Temple, Devi’s Waterfalls and boating in Phewa Lake. Halt in Pokhara.

Day 8: Drive to Chitwan. Enroute visit Sri Manokamana Devi Temple by cable car. Halt in Chitwan National Park Resort.

Day 9: (Optional: In Chitwan, from morning 6:00 am to 9:00 am – Free time for Elephant/Jeep jungle safari) After breakfast drive to Janakapuri (Mithalapuri), place where lord Ram and Sita met for the first time, and were married to each other. Darshan of Sri Ram Temple, Sri Sita Temple, Vivaha Mandapam and Raja Janak’s Palace. Enroute visit Dhanushadham, the place where Lord Ram had broke Shiva's divine bow, according to the epic, one of the three pieces of the bow fell in the present day Dhanushadham. Halt in Janakpur.

Day 10: Drive to Danapur. Enroute darshan of Sitamarhi. Place where Raja Janak found Goddess Sita from Earth. After lunch darshan at Gajendra Moksha Stalam. Reach Danapur to Board Sangamitra Express at 8:15 pm (packed dinner will be provided).

Day 11: Train journey.

Day 12: Reach Perambur (Chennai) at 9:40 am.
